The Project is My 87 GN street car. I plan to race this car in TSM in 2009. The engine in progress for the car is a Stock 109 block 218" CID with TA heads (Bigger is not always better) . RPM range of the little power plant on paper is 8000+. If the GT70 turbo will supply the air I believe this little engine will make about 930HP. The engine management for the project is distributorless Electromotive GT. This will be a much different combination than anyone has seen in TSM. Will be very interesting to see how the small 218" will compete with the Stroker 249s" that dominate the TSM class. No Distributor, No Missle Power plant, Junk Intake, Old Hooker Headers no one wants, Engine management no one knows anything about, No Torque converter, 12 Injectors. I am not sure how this thing will even start. I am going to run the engine on a engine dyno. Check back for more updates. Lets see if we can hit that 900HP mark. 100 Mile test drive before a race NO PROBLEM. Check Back for more updates as the project goes together.

Malibu clutch pedals
The clutch Pedals are from a Malibu. I am using manual brake not the Hydra boost pictured so I need to change the ratio on the brake pedal as I have found that there were no G-Bodys ever produced with manual brakes. You can see the slave cylinder for the hydraulic clutch. I am using the stock neutral safety setup. So I dont need any of the other 4 speed stuff. The idea is to two step the car to build boost and then drop the clutch at about 6000 rpm with the clutch starting the slip at about 5200-5500 and full lock-up by 6000.
