TH400 Extreme

The transmission is a TH400 built and designed for a pulling truck.  Trans shift pattern P-R-N-1-1-3.  Thats correct there is no 2nd gear. We removed about 20lb of rotating mass so the transmission internals spin up quick allowing the engine to hit its RPM very quick off the line. The trans runs on Torrington bearings to minimize drag.
