4L60E 300mm Maximum Duty Input Drum and shaft
The EA INPUT SHAFT IS THE STRONGEST IN THE INDUSTRY AND THE ONLY 4L60E SHAFT EQUIPPED WITH A LEAK PROOF DUAL O-RING SYSTEM, AT THE POINT WHERE THE SHAFT IS PRESSED INTO THE DRUM. THIS FEATURE IS CRUCIAL FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE APPLICATIONS, AS INHERENTLY NEW O.E.M. AND AFTER MARKET PERFORMANCE 4L60E AND THE 700R4 INPUT DRUMS ALL LEAK OR SEEP DURING OPERATIONS, ROBBING YOUR CLUTCH PACK OF LINE PRESSURE WHICH WEAKENS ENGAGEMENT AND LOWERS PERFORMANCE. THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE INPUT DRUM AND THE INPUT SHAFT ARE MADE FROM MATERIALS THAT DO NOT EXPAND AND CONTRACT AT THE SAME RATE, THUS CAUSING MILD TO MODERATE LEAKAGE DURING OPERATIONS. WE CORRECT THIS PROBLEM WITH OUR SPECIAL O-RING SEALS WHICH ARE MADE FROM COMPOUNDS THAT EXPAND 20% AT OPERATING TEMPERATURES TO GIVE THE ULTIMATE SEAL. ALL SHAFTS ARE STRESS RELIEVED, HARDENED THEN TORQUE AND LEAK TESTED. THE DRUM IS IS CRYOED AND SLEEVED TO PREVENT TWIST OUT. INCLUDED IN THE PACAGE IS A ROLLERISED BEAST SUN SHELL. OUR SHAFT IS NEW NOT A REWORKED STOCKER.
