The Project : Convert this Shelby with Webber Carbs and a distributor to look a like Fuel Injection with distributorless electronic fuel injection. We are going to install Fuel Injection Intake, Complete fuel system, wiring harness, relays, fuse panel and some tricky work. Here are some pics of the progress. The customers choice for Engine Management was Electromotive GT. The Gen7 would have been perfect for the project. I am excited to see how the Electromotve works out. I have tuned the old TEC cant wait to tune the new stuff. This project was a little harder than I had planned but its coming along nicely. More pics and Dyno tune to come.

Project Electromotive Cobra is now complete. When the customer chose the Electromotive GT I was sceptical that it would offer the drivability of the Accel Gen 7. I was really surprised. The Electromotive GT is one slick unit. The install was not bad. The wiring was a little tricky. The Harness supplied was first class and so were the instructions. The Tech help from Electromotive was the best I have ever receive from any company. They returned calls and really were there to support their product. Special thanks to Fred for going the extra mile. The Electromotive Ignition system is simply perfection. Timing is rock steady and pin point accurate. The fueling was different for me but I was able to pick it up and run with it. The drivability was as good as any Gen 7 I have ever installed. I can also tell you with this car the Electromotive is probably the only unit that could get the job done. The cranking speed of this car is only about 90 rpm not much vacuum and no IAC to boot. Motec and the others out there would not even see the crank signal at that RPM and idle would have been a nightmare. The car made 457HP 481TQ at the tire. The car drives like a new one and runs like a rocket ship. I will install more Electromotive products in the future. First class fuel injection that will work on any car you can install their trigger wheel on.
