TH-400 Turbo Glide

The Outlaw 400s can be used as a 3 speed or 2 speed (thats where the glide comes in) The transbrake will hold in 1st or 2nd gear allowing you to choose the gear that works best for your track conditions or tire size. The Outlaw 400 as with all Extreme Automatics Pro Brake Series is truely .000 release time. This allows the racer to cut a Pro Tree down with time to spare. This transmission is used by many small tire cars racing the Drag radial and 9" and 8.5" slicks.

    Outlaw 10.5 Turbo Glide

    The Outlaw 10.5 Turbo 400 was designed for 10.5 racers that makes Big HP and needs to hook up a small tire or drag radial.  The Ultimate Outlaw Standard Gearing is 2.10/1.40/1.0 and using only the best of the best parts.  With the Outlaw you can launch the car with the trans brake using 1st or 2nd gear. Launching using 2nd gear takes torque multiplication away from the hit allowing that small tire to stay hooked to the track. The Glide cant be built with a hi enough gear to be effective and still be strong enough to handle the power. The beauty of the Outlaw is you are not giving up 3 speeds. If the track will hold the power the Brake also holds in first so you can leave using 1st gear.  Some cars will always go faster launching in 2nd. Take a look at the 2 versions available.
